Joseph60 LLC ("we," "us") operates the Joseph 60 app. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.
Joseph 60 is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
When you create an account, we store your email address and, if you provide one, a display name, along with your device timezone. This lets you sign in and keeps your daily logs on the correct day.
As you use the program, we store the records the app is built around: your attempts and daily logs (movement, temperance, nutrition, passion project, and integrity seal, plus any passion-project note you write), church attendance check-ins, kindness-act confirmations, your daily journal entries, your sealed letter to yourself, progress photos you choose to upload, and, if you use them, accountability-group and accountability-partner data such as group name, membership, and feed events like "sealed Day 23." If you report another user, we store the report: the reporter, the reported user, a reason category, and any note you add.
We also record product-usage events, such as when you complete onboarding, seal a day, start a program, or earn an achievement. These events carry identifiers, counts, and category labels only, never free text you've written.
If you enable reminders, the app registers your device with Apple's or Google's push notification service through Expo, and requests your device's notification permission. Reminders are currently scheduled locally on your device.
Your journal entries, your letter to yourself, any private note you attach to a kindness act, and any group name you type are stored only in our database. They are never sent to an analytics or advertising vendor, and our event-tracking system is built so that it structurally cannot carry this text: only IDs, categories, and counts are ever recorded as events.
Your sealed letter is additionally locked at the database level. The app gives no one, including you, any way to read it back until your attempt is completed and the letter unlocks, and we do not access it in the ordinary course of operating the app.
We use a small number of service providers to run Joseph 60:
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. See our account deletion page for details.
Deleting your account removes your profile and every record tied to it, including your attempts, daily logs, journal entries, letter, church logs, kindness confirmations, progress photos, and group membership.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Joseph 60 after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
